We will create Story Labs.
A Story Lab is a place where people learn together.
In a Story Lab you can:
- meet new people
- tell your story
- listen to other people
- learn new skills
- work together
- have fun.
What kinds of stories can we make?
There are many ways to tell a story.
For example:
- videos
- photos
- podcasts
- theatre
- drawings
- interviews
- social media posts.
You choose how you want to tell your story.
We will help you with some tools.
We use easy language
We want everyone to understand our information.
We try to:
- use simple words
- write short sentences
- explain difficult words
- use pictures
- make information easy to read.
We work together
People with intellectual disabilities are partners in this project.
They help us:
- make decisions
- plan activities
